Why This Card is in the BrewDex

Sitting in the Scene

A glass french press sits on the round table between two mugs set out for the family while they knit.

What the Artwork Shows

In the same green-wallpapered living room from the Kirlia card, now years on, Gardevoir stands by the armchair holding a basket of yarn while the woman winks from the couch, knitting a colorful granny-square blanket. An older man with glasses sits beside the round table, where a glass french press full of amber brew waits next to a green and a red mug. The man is holding a camera in his hands. Framed pictures, plants, and a fruit tree fill the warm room. A Ralts doll is in the foreground facing the family.

Illustrated by Jiro Sasumo

Within the collection, this is the 2nd card illustrated by Jiro Sasumo, one of 38 hot coffee or tea cards, one of 5 cards from Scarlet & Violet, and one of 70 cards where the beverage is prominent in the artwork.
