Why This Card is in the BrewDex

Sitting in the Scene

A cup of coffee on a saucer sits at the center of Morty's café table.

What the Artwork Shows

Morty sits alone at a round café table on a cobblestone plaza, chin in hand, beside a cup of dark drink on a saucer and an untouched muffin. A paper grocery bag with a baguette rests on the empty chair across from him, and fallen autumn leaves dot the table and stones. A huge, grinning Gengar looms semi-translucent across the foreground while a Pidgey has its eyes on something behind Gengar.

Illustrated by Megumi Mizutani

Within the collection, this is the 3rd card illustrated by Megumi Mizutani, one of 45 coffee cards, one of 5 cards from Temporal Forces, and one of 70 cards where the beverage is prominent in the artwork.
