Why This Card is in the BrewDex

Sitting in the Scene

A dark ribbed lidded teapot and a teal tea cup sit among the dishes on the diner's table at the left.

What the Artwork Shows

Snorlax tips its head back and devours a shower of orange food at the right of the frame. Behind it, at an outdoor Japanese food stall hung with character signs and a red parasol, a bearded man in traditional robes eats with chopsticks at a wooden table. His table holds bowls of steaming food, a dark ribbed lidded teapot, and a teal tea cup. Bamboo leaves frame the right edge.

Illustrated by Kouki Saitou

Within the collection, this is the 3rd card illustrated by Kouki Saitou, one of 49 tea cards, and one of 70 cards where the beverage is prominent in the artwork.
